Who we are

KORU is a Kenyan coffee company that starts at the farm

Too many coffee farmers plant, wait years for the first harvest, and still end up selling through middlemen who take the biggest share. We started KORU to change that pattern. We supply seedlings, walk the farm with you, and buy the coffee you grow, then export it directly to roasters who want good Kenyan beans.

  • Direct buying with no brokers in between
  • Transparent pricing agreed before harvest
  • Payments made straight to your bank or mobile money
  • Long-term contracts, not one-off deals

Questions farmers ask us

Before you register

Register on this page or call our team. Once we receive your details, a field officer will contact you to walk through the next steps and answer any questions about your farm.
No. Many of our farmers started with no experience at all. We provide training, regular farm visits and agronomy advice from the first season.
Yes. We supply certified seedlings suited to your area, along with the inputs needed to give them a strong start.
You sell directly to KORU. We agree the price with you and collect your coffee, so you never have to hunt for a buyer or go through middlemen.
The first real harvest usually comes in year two or three. That is when income begins, and it grows as the trees mature.
We pay directly to your bank account or mobile money, based on the weight and quality of the coffee we collect from you.
Yes. We sign a simple agreement that explains the support you will receive, the price structure, and how payments work. Nothing is left to guesswork.
Seedlings, farm inputs, practical training and scheduled visits from our agronomy team throughout the growing season.
Absolutely. Most of our partners farm less than an acre. The program is built for smallholder farmers and scales with your land.
Use the contact page, call us, or send a WhatsApp message. We reply during working hours, Monday to Friday.

"Before KORU, I used to carry my coffee from buyer to buyer hoping for a decent offer. Now I know exactly what I will be paid before the season starts. That peace of mind changed how I farm."
Joseph MwangiKisii, 2 acres
"I started with zero experience. The field officer taught me how to prune and mulch properly. My third harvest was double the second, and I got paid straight to my phone."
Grace WanjiruMurang'a, 1 acre
"The seedlings arrived on time and healthy, and the training sessions are practical, not theory. What I value most is that KORU keeps its word."
Peter KipronoNyeri, 3 acres
"No brokers, no unexplained deductions. The weight is taken in front of me and the price is agreed beforehand. That is how business should be done."
